What's up guys? Welcome to my blog! The Bleacher View. For my first post i wanted to tell you guys a little about me. My name is George Michael Vazquez. Yes. That is correct George Michael. I am 23 years of age and I live in the outskirts of Miami in a city called Cutler Bay, FL. I am married to an amazing girl by the name of Crystal Elena Vazquez. She herself blogs and is really the reason why i'm trying this thing out. She is one of the most creative and fun people I know. Check out her blog as well @ missandtell.com.

Now, enough about me and let's get to business. The reason I chose the name The Bleacher View is because on this blog i will be posting my thoughts and observations as a fan on many sports related subjects. I am a home team kind of guy. I love the Miami Dolphins, The Miami Hurricanes (THE U), The Miami Heat (Bye LeBron) and unfortunately the Miami Marlins. Let's start with football. I love everything about it. I grew up playing every sport as a kid but it was just something about football that made me feel alive and free. Then, I got to an age where I wanted to do everything like my father. Every Sunday he would do nothing but sit in front of the TV and watch football all day. So as I grew older and wiser I began to understand the ins and outs of football. So i took my fanhood to another level and began to watch it with him. Fortunately for my dad, in his time of being a Dolphins fan they had one of the greatest Quarterbacks to play the game, Dan Marino. I was born in 1991, so I did not have the luxury to watch him play and consistently take the Dolphins to the playoffs; BUT I have had the luxury to watch a future Hall of Fame QB in Tom Brady crush every Dolphins fans heart since 2001. While the Patriots have had success for so many years, I have seen the Dolphins go through Quarterbacks by the names of (and not in any specific order): Cleo Lemon, Chad Henne, Brian Griese, Daunte Culpepper, AJ Feely, Gus Frerotte and Joey Harrington. What an overwhelming list of names. Or not. I have not had an easy path to being a Dolphins fan but I remain faithful and hopeful that we can turn it around. STAY TUNED as later this week I will be posting an article on what i think about our current starting Quarterback, Ryan Tannehill. There is NOTHING like football.
